C.OV. Preschool Fundraising Events

I have known Kerry and Dan Rucinski for over ten years. They designed two different fundraising events for our preschool. The first was a fun 50’s Sock-Hop  and the second was completely different, an elegant “Black and White Soiree.”

Both events were outstanding. The Rucinskis have an eye for detail.  They seek out fantastic design pieces that generate interest and create an ambiance that make the event very special.  I believe that their creative designs enabled us to have two of the most successful fundraisers in the history of our school. Their designs are a blend of classic and contemporary. Whether they were creating something fun and whimsical or more refined and upscale, their designs bring an energy that immediately sets the stage for success.

They are accommodating and easy to work with. It was a joy to have them design our events.

I have also worked with Kerry Clark Rucinski in my own home.  I was struggling with colors after a recent Kitchen and Living Room remodel. Kester's World Music and Art Festival

Kerry and Dan’s planning and execution were invaluable for the the art component of Kester Avenue Elementary’s annual World Music & Art Festival. Because the funds raised through this event supported art education in our school, the art tent, where student work from throughout the year was displayed, was critical for helping our supporters understand the positive impact their donations had on our school. Kerry not only selected the art for display, but she also conceived a new overall design for the tent each year, based on famous artworks, bringing an additional (and fun!) educational component to the art tent. She also created an art garden, where festival attendees could create art of their own to take home. Dan worked with her throughout, helping to construct and assemble the display so that it was ready to go when our gates opened. As a co-chair of the festival for many years, I knew I could rely on them to go above and beyond each time, all while staying mindful of keeping costs low. Their interactive and creative work were a distinctive feature of our event. - Jen Brown
